Standard for environmentally friendly ink
Leave a message
So to determine whether an ink belongs to environmentally friendly ink, the following points should generally be considered
Heavy metal content
This concept was first proposed by Germany. Due to the possibility of children accidentally absorbing heavy metals by putting toys printed with ink into their mouths, people began to demand the heavy metal content of ink. Heavy metals mainly come from pigments and additives in ink. Most inks have reduced their heavy metal content, but some people still use chrome yellow and chrome red to make ink.
Aromatic hydrocarbon solvent
Mainly including nail polish, xylene, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives. They will evaporate into the air with the drying of ink, not only polluting the air, but also posing a threat to the physical health of printing operators.
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
There are many types of it, such as alcohols, esters, ethers, ketones, mineral oils, etc. Like aromatic solvents, it will evaporate with ink drying, thereby polluting the air.
